She has a couple of film in her kitty including Okkati Nalugu, which is being directed by debutant Prabhakar. The film is about a young woman who achieves her ambition after a great struggle. "Since it’s a woman-oriented film, we were scouting for an actress who can do justice to the role. And Meera fits the bill perfectly,” says the director. Well, Meera’s always known as an actress of substance.
